Welcome to one of the oldest structures in Indiana

The Tate Tatum House is well over 200 years old and has been the heart of this working farm since 1822. The log structure was lovingly restored in 2024 with the utmost care and respect to preserve the character and charm of the Hall and Parlor style home.

The Tate-Tatum house is listed on the National Register of Historic places as a key component of Whippoorwill Hill's historic District (including the c.1822 double crib barn and other supporting structures). We are thrilled you're here and hope you enjoy our small piece of Hoosier.
